The Mission will welcome and be blessed by volunteers in the areas of discipleship guides, GED mentors, health care professionals, IT services, landscaping, plumbing, woodworking, mechanics, cooks, and tradespeople of all kings who are willing to invest in the lives of the men in our residential program and in Kingdom building. Call 704-751-1256 to volunteer or email email@example.com. Click here to complete our Volunteer Application.
Being a volunteer means giving more than your time to a ministry. It means giving of one’s heart and caring for those who are being served through the ministry. Many of our volunteers go above and beyond the call of the position they are filling. Thus, fulfilling the great commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).
Is your Mission Field in your own backyard?
Here are some ideas of how you may bless the Missions’ residents and staff by serving “the least of these”(Matthew 25:40):
- Food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Repair work
- Yard work
- Board membership
- Organizing food or supply drives
- Shelter coverage
- Case management
Get to know God’s heart for the poor as well as the generosity He requires for our own hearts and lives. Together we can make a difference!
All volunteers, with the exception of those participating in a special event or one-time group volunteer opportunity MUST attend a volunteer orientation and submit an application. Orientations are scheduled with Ms. Barbara Wray by calling (704) 751-1256 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
